Baby Eczema Milk Allergy
Baby Eczema Milk Allergy
baby with allergies???

My child has allergies: eggs, peanut oil, whole milk, cheese, particles in grass, eczema flares in sunlight, clothes detergents, soaps, outdoor allergens(pollen, etc) She is 17 months old. I do not know what I did wrong, but now I need to do something right! We see an allergist, dermatologist and the pediatrician of coarse. They keep saying to use benedryl and we have 7 different creams we are using for her eczema. Nothing seems to be helping. I don't want to keep doping her up. Is there something we can do at home..drug free to help with the coughing and the skin rashes??

Im sorry about your poor baby girl. I am a nanny and Maddie who is 2 has horrible allergies also and we are still searching for something that works for her also. I do not know about how to treat her other allergies, but I do have something that works on eczema. I had it really bad on my hands and backs of my knees, also Maddie gets eczema like dry skin on her hands. Mine was so bad that it would crack and bleed all the time, not to mention it was horribly painful. My mom found this lotion called Corn Huskers lotion. I had wonderful results, I saw a huge improvement quickly and now I am 21 and have not had it since second grade. We tried it for Maddie and it works great still. You can find it at Walgreens or any drugstore. Its oil free and almost gel-like. It helps to moisturize while it provides a barrier for the skin to heal. Its not sticky or hard to apply so its great for lathering a toddler and sending them on the way. Good Luck and I hope you find a medicine and hopefully she will grow out of it...
