dry skin type of condition?
ever since i was a little kid i have had this problem with my skin where it gets wrinkly dry spots and if i dont treat them they turn red and have flaky skin on them and at the worse they bleed. I dont think its psoriasis or eczema it just seems like dry skin. I went to a dermatologist and he said that its not fungus or anything and he did not really have a name for it. If I put hydrocortizone ointment or cream on it, it gets a little bit better from what seems like being moisturized. I have tried all types of cream like aquaphor and cocoa butter and hydrocortizone but it can only make it a little better and can never cure the patches. At best they become invisible to the eye and I can only barely feel that the skin is dry there. The dry patches seem to go away on their own and appear elsewhere sometimes over the course of a couple of months.
