Coal Tar For Psoriasis
Nutritional/herbal supplments for psoriasis?
I am looking to take extra supplements for my psoriasis and was wondering if anyone has had any good experiences with a particular one.
I am taking Selenium, and all the usual Omegas, Vit D etc. But I have heard that Gota Kola is good as it helps the skin.
And yes, I have been to my doctors. I have tried coal tar treatments, steriod creams, topical creams etc and nothing really works. I am being reffered for light therapy but until then I would like to try and help myself.
Can anyone help me out here?
I know that the problem is an immune deficency but have heard that supplementing your diet can help from the inside,
You need to take EPA fish oils 1000mg per day, Evening Primrose Oil 1000mg x 3 per day as deficiencies of these essential omega oils in your diet may cause psoriasis, also take a high dose B-Vitamin supplement too as stress can be a trigger and it's a natural tonic for the nerves. It is safe to take this combination, and you should see a real difference in about a months time, and maximum results within 3 months. Also try using Aloe Vera gel on your skin too as this is naturally soothing and healing. I hope this helps.xxx

Coal tar can be used directly on the skin. This is very good to soothe your skin even though it may sometimes be too strong for your liking.
It is always recommended that the patient suffering from psoriasis should have a well-balanced diet.
Having good amount of juices from grapes and other fruits can help you to have better immune system to fight this disease.
Have herbs in daily diet such as basil, ginger, cardamom, saffron, garlic, parsley, tomato, fruit vinegars, and homemade mayonnaise. This kind of diet may not cure this disease but can prove to be very important part of your health.
