Difference Between Eczema And Ringworm
Is ringworm always red?
Previously, I thought my rabbit had fur mites, took her to the vet and he said she didn't. He said it was some kind of fungus thing, I asked if it was probably ringworm, he say said no. (But I can't be sure, they didn't seem very reassuring) So, I want to know if ringworm is always red? I don't see any redness on that area, it's just flaky, and I don't believe it's completely round either, but it's hard to tell cause she's a lionhead rabbit. Also, how can I tell the difference between eczema and ringworm? My eczema sometimes gets really bad. Thanks!
Yes, 99% of the time ringworm is a clearly defined red ring on the skin, the fur will fall out where there is an infection. It usually doesn't get flaky until the fungus is dieing.
