Does Sunlight Help Eczema
Anyone else have sun light caused eczema? i could use some advice?
i know theres a thousand questions about eczema cure being asked but i havent seen anyone mention SUNLIGHT(AND HEAT) being the primary cause of eczema. nothing else seems to do it to me. just heat and sunlight. strange... i use alot of sunblock (the strongest ones) and it helps but it still gets through. and ive used every over the counter medicine i can find cause i dont have insurance. crazy thing is my eczema was triggered for the 1st time when i was 9 at the local YMCA their pool was the culprit. i should sue them... anyways i would appreciate any good advice for some one like me.
yeppp..the chlorine could have triggered it and u having a flare up when you're in the sun is probably from sweat like the lady above me said. I'm 18 now and I've had eczema ever since I was a baby. Surprisingly enough, I've found my own free medicine--the beach. If I get into the ocean and just play around or what not, by the time I get out it's all cleared. I've never tried mixing salt and water together and seeing if that cleared it up though. I can't use lotion and as an African American, I need it or else..well we all know how that goes lol. But as a substitute for lotion and keeping my skin moisturized(dry skin being a common problem with eczema), I use aquaphor. It's really good stuff.
Good luck with learning how to control it. I know your pain!
