E45 Makes Eczema Worse
a cure for eczema?
my 3 year old has had eczema since birth,i have tried everything from e45 to pre-scribed steroid creams but nothing seems to help.i bath him everynight but have tried cutting that down since i was told that it only makes it worse cause the water dries out the skin even more.please help my little boy we were awake most of last night scratching his poor red sore knees and hands,its heartbreaking.
i have had eczema since birth i am sorry to say there is no cure for it just things to help ease the discomfort of it. First i would suggest a really good allergist. I found mine was aggravated by yellow dye in cheese etc.. also dairy products. soy is great no side effects.use a non scented lotion as not to irritate. Elocon is a really good topical i sue with Allegra for itching. yes bathes do irritate the skin makes very dry. soap wise try a goat milk based not anything like Dove, Safeguard even some baby soap anything with additives all natural is the way to go. sry this is long let me know if you have anymore questions i have had 44 years. its livable just a little inconvenient " warning no latex anything"
