Eczema Abdomen
Son has severe eczema, anybody heard of crisco as remedy?
My little boy has suffered so much with eczema over the years. Started when he was 6 months old and he's now 10 so I can honestly say we've tried everrything under the sun. As a toddler he was prescribed a steroid cream for spots of eczema on his legs. Can't speak for anybody else but I think this was what triggered a HUGE reactive spread of the affected areas --- arms, legs, abdomen, ankles, hands and face. He's a trooper; hardly complains anymore. Just kills us to see him with what honestly looks like crocodile or lizard skin. I work at a pediatrics office so we have no shortage of creams and potions and medicines. Nothing has truly worked to bring it under control. Just started using EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) and now i may try Crisco... yes, THAT Crisco. Anybody have an experience like mine?
i know how annoying having eczema can be, i've had it since i was a baby and my son now has it, and we both have tried everything you can think of and baby lotion is the only thing that keeps my son's under control...i did come across a few articles online that said bleach baths have shown to help eczema...me and my son have had MRSA infections and i was told to take bleach baths a couple times a month (a cup of bleach mixed into warm bath tub full of water and soak in it for 10-15 minutes without getting it into your eyes, nose or mouth of course lol) but maybe you could ask his dr about it or try it, i noticed my eczema goes away for a week when i do that? so it might actually work lol
