Eczema Amlactin
anyone know any remedies for eczema in babies?
ive tried almost everything, even been to a derm. and he gave me topical steroids, which i dont want to use on her, there are too many side effects to them. amlactin helped but she is still itchy.
I have had to deal with this situation myself and what worked for me was....
Don't bathe your baby too often, maybe once a week, use cetaphil to wash his/her body and hair, start using only unscented everything (detergent, fabric softeners, dryer sheets, soaps, shampoos, bubble bath, stay clear of anything but unscented) and before bed every night slather him/her in Aquaphor (it's like a very thick Vaseline but soooo much better) and then put their jammies on. It takes time but it made a big difference and now my child has baby soft skin again.
