What´s the best way to overcome my lactose intolerance?

Well, I'm -kind of- allergic to lactose (milk sugar), which is found in all diary products and everything where milk has been used in (cheese, chocolate, cookies, cakes, cream soups, like sooo much things), and I really want to overcome it. It's not like a real allergy, because I don't die of eating lactose, it's just that I get eczema and diarrhea but I get that from eating the smallest amount of something that contains lactose. Is there anyone who knows a good method??
Well there is a problem I really hate soy and soy milk it REALLY disgusts me and almost all milk-free products are with soy???

The question is do you have lactose intolerance or a dairy allergy?

If it's a dairy allergy (which the eczema suggests), there's not much you can do.

But if it's lactose intolerance (which the diarrhea suggests), there's a good chance you can overcome it, or at least lessen it. If you are just lactose intolerant and do not have a dairy allergy, you should be able to eat yogurt without any problems because yogurt does have lactose.

Lactose intolerance happens when your body doesn't produce enough of the enzyme lactase, which is required to digest lactose. The good news is, the amount of lactase your body produces can change depending on how much your body thinks you need.

The simple method is to gradually increase the amount of lactose you consume.

I was lactose intolerant for several years. During that time I drank Lactaid brand milk (which is lactose-free cow's milk).

When I wanted to overcome my lactose intolerance, I slowly added regular milk to my diet. At first I ate my cereal with mostly Lactaid milk and just a little regular milk. Over the course of about two weeks, I increased the amount of regular milk in my cereal until that's all I was using in the morning. Then I started adding regular milk to my Lactaid at lunch and dinner. After a few months, I was pretty much okay with dairy products.

I still monitor my lactose intake because too much will make me sick (and I really love dairy foods). But most of the time I can drink milk, eat cream-based soups, and even eat ice cream without any problems.

Eczema Treatment - Natural Remedies to Clear Up Your Eczema

Not only can eczema be an embarrassing & unsightly condition, but it can be extremely irritating & uncomfortable.

For those who have been suffering with eczema for a long time will know what a miserable and uncomfortable condition it is.

These tips & natural remedies will help control or even clear up your eczema for good.

What Causes Eczema?

Causes of eczema vary according to the type of eczema however it is not always totally clear as to the underlying cause - the following however can be the cause of your eczema.

  1. Heredity factors - it is thought that eczema can be an inherited condition, however, whilst you can not choose your parents you can still get relief from your eczema through the following natural treatments.
  2. Allergens - if the eczema sufferer is allergic to certain things, the overeactive autoimmune system can cause an eczema flare up.

These allergens can include various types of the following

  • detergents
  • clothing
  • soaps
  • dust

Ways to Treat Eczema Naturally

  1. Avoid Allergens - anything (see causes above) that can trigger the over active autoimmune system is likely to aggravate the eczema and therefore should be identified & avoided.
  2. Diet - maintain a balanced and healthy diet which should avoid foods such as eggs, caffeine, chocolate, cereals, milk and citrus fruits which may cause allergic reactions and therefore cause an eczema flare up
  3. Hygiene - ensure that your personal hygiene levels are high as any scratching or rubbing the affected areas on your body can exacerbate the condition and lead to infections.

In most eczema cases no one treatment will be totally effective - medical research has also shown that the most effective treatment plan for eczema involves using a combination of therapies to treat the skin as well as making lifestyle changes to control flare-ups & reduce the eczema.
