Eczema Cream Over The Counter
Eczema and Seborrhea dermatitis! Please help!?
Please help me! for months and months I have been dealing with bad seborrhea on my scalp and I've tried Nizoral, Tgel, and prescription cream, but nothing is helping! I need suggestions! Anything please.. it is very annoying, painful, frustrating, and itchy. Eczema is an even bigger problem... it's all around my eyes and where my ears connect to my head and randomly on my face... I've tried many over-the-counter creams, however prescription ones are too strong for around the eyes...I've tried an allergy pill ..nothing works.. I've become immune to creams..it gets really red so i have raccoon eyes and its so dry everywhere! Please suggest anything... I'm desperate!!
Try Denorex shampoo w/ 2.5% coal tar.. The one i had is 2-in-1 shampoo & conditioner.. I had the exact same problem. I also tried a lot of prescription meds (Nizoral, ketaconazole, clobetasol, antibiotics, etc.) My derm even gave me steroid pills, but i never took them because i wound up pregnant, but nothing seemed to work. I finally decided to buy something otc w/ coal tar because i read that it worked. I tried the denorex, & it went away after about 2 washes, & i dont wash my hair everyday.. I dont know if it was just THAT shampoo that made it go away, or if everything just added up or what, but it hasnt come back since. That was over a year & a half ago... I also had the eczema on my forehead, eyebrows, & around the back of my ears, i just washed my face with hot water everytime i saw it, & put lotion on it.. I also let the shampoo get on my forehead/ears, for the hell of it.. It went away with the rest of it. My derm told me it can come back whenever it wants, theres no cure for it, & they THINK stress causes it. It came out of the blue, i didnt have it as a kid or anything, so yeah its annoying as hell...
