Cloth diaper/nappy users..?

My 10 month old has baby eczema so after a fair bit of trial and error, I found a very good perfume and enzyme free washing detergent that doesn't flare her skin up. However... as it's perfume free, the nappies tend to smell a bit... off. Does anyone have any suggestions to what I can add to the wash (wash only as I dry pail) that will help the smell and won't irritate her skin?
Don't bother with the smart-a.ss comments about using disposables instead, they actually make the problem worse.
Thanks!
I tried ecover and it didn't help. I don't want to change the brand I'm using, it took a long time to find one that didn't aggravate her skin, I'd just like something to add for the smell.
I stripped them a couple of weeks ago and it helped until the next wash. I don't want to have to strip them too often.
I haven't tried dried lavender... just add some to the wash?

i've heard tto (tea tree oil) works. just a couple drops in the wash cycle. i found that when i was getting smell it was because i wasn't using enough detergent. So, esentially they weren't getting clean. I added a little bit more detergent each time till i found how much worked without adding to much. also, because my ds has SUPER sensitive skin i switched from just a rinse cycle after the wash to a full wash cycle with nothing added on cold/cold setting to make sure all the detergent was rinsed out. worked to stop my "stinkies" and rashes. hths.

Information on Eczema – Information That Will Heal your Eczema

Information on Eczema – I have spent a long time searching for a method to cure my eczema. I have visited with skin specialists and doctors since I was a young child.

But in my books it was all worth it. I am totally eczema free and my general health has transformed beyond my wildest dreams.

The methods that I used to cure my eczema are all natural. There are no creams, ointments or potions, none whatsoever.

I transformed the way I eat and I cured the eczema that I had been suffering with for over thirty-five years. Within seven days of starting the new treatment there was a marked difference in the way my skin looked and after two weeks my body was totally free of eczema.

Here is a snippet of the changes I made:

#1 - Information on Eczema – List of Changes to Heal Eczema

I started drinking organic fruit and vegetables juices. These are delicious and are very good at supplying the skin with the vitamins, minerals and enzymes that eczematous skin craves for. On a daily basis I drank at least two glasses of vegetable juice. There are many combinations you can create. I always include a vegetable that calms my skin and works at strengthening my immune system.

#2 - I tossed out all the products in my kitchen that contained dairy products or white flour. I tossed out the cheese, milk, yoghurts, margarine, butter, cookies, cakes and eggs.

I have always known that dairy products did my skin no good but I always tempted to have a few items in my fridge. I completely cleared the kitchen and I am dairy free.

#3 - I tossed out all the bad fats that I had in my kitchen and replaced them with the good fats. Good fats contain vital omega 3 and omega 6 nutrients. The omegas nourish and feed the skin. These are vital. A good source of good fats is Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Avocado.

#4 - A very important step that I took in curing my eczema was to introduce bean sprouts into my daily diet. I eat at least three cups of bean sprouts on a daily basis and I also added them to my juices. The most popular sprouts are Alfalfa and Mung Beans. These sprouts deliver important enzymes which eczema skin craves for.

There is a lot of information on Eczema out there in the big wide world, but a lot of the information will not effectively cure your eczema. Most of the information on eczema entails you using creams, potions and ointments.

I have found that by changing the way I eat and tossing out the stuff that aggravates my eczema made a huge difference to my skin and general health. I found I could use foods as medicine. It is very rewarding and I am totally cured from eczema.
