Eczema Eyelids

What kinds of food can trigger eczema?
i have eczema and it keeps flaring up on my lower eyelids and on the skin under my eyes. every morning i eat cheerios with chocolate milk (which i recently changed to soymilk because i read that dairy can cause eczema flare ups), and i recently read that gluten can also cause flare ups. and i read that cheerios contain gluten. so could eating cheerios every day be causing my flare ups?

How to Treat Eczema on Eyelids - Fast, Safe and Effective Eczema Treatments
Eczema is generally a very common problem among young adults and it results to stress even more than you can imagine. The idea of not having to scratch even when your mind is already commanding your hands to scratch them is overwhelming. It is a battle of will between you and your body. It is sometimes called atopic but eczema is just a general term. The term atopic on the other hand is a general description for a condition that will develop as a result of your contact with allergens in the environment and in the atmosphere like dust, pollens and mites. Dermatitis is the general term where you will often notice that your skin is already inflamed.
It is best to treat the condition both externally and internally. This means that you have to deal with the root cause and what happens on your skin on the surface. So, generally you will need a hypoallergenic or simply a mild soap when you are washing your face. Make sure that your soap contains efficient moisturizers so that your skin will not be completely dry after showering. Support this with moisturizing creams and ointments and apply them onto your eyelids. You can also make use of oils like baby oils.
You can apply Aloe Vera on the affected area and this also works efficiently since it is both moisturizing and has cooling effects on your skin. It will greatly reduce the inflammation and as a result it can also reduce itching. It also contains antioxidants that are generally ideal for skin conditions. You can have the natural juice from fresh picked plant or you can purchase them in a form of capsule, gel and soap.
Another beneficial item that is next in the list would be the raw tomato. This is because it contains Vitamin A and is generally an ideal vitamin for the skin. Apply raw tomato on your eyelid at least once in a day and leave it on for about 20 minutes then rinse your eyelids well.
Do not engage in activities that will aggravate your condition. You must know how stubborn this skin condition is because it is a relapsing and chronic type of skin disease. The best way that you can completely annihilate it from your system is to avoid all the triggering factors. If you do not know yet what your triggering factors are, consult your doctor or do experiments. Do not be afraid to take risks because life has always been a trial and error.
When you say you want to learn how to treat eczema on eyelids, you can employ both conventional medicine and traditional medicine. Topical steroids are best when you are trying to get rid of the symptoms.
