Eczema Gloves

Home remedies for Eczema?
So I went to the dermatologist several months ago for Hand Eczema and he gave me 2 ointments which cleared it up within 3 days. Now that I've used it for so long, it's like my body is resisting it. So I've been using Cortizone 10 for the itching because it's really bad.
I don't have health insurance at the moment so I can't go back to the doctors. Do any of you know any tricks in relieving my hands.
I would show you a pic but they are horrible.
Plus, I work at a subway making peoples food and I don't want
them to see my hands and be grossed out!
Even though Im wearing gloves...
Please help me!!!!!
sorry to tell you but unfortunately eczema does not go away. the more you scratch the more it itches, my little boy has it- severly, its all over his body so I do sympothize for you and have it on your hands. What I have learned is this, eczema is actually driven by allergies, you are coming in contact or eating something that you are allergic to, the trick is, is to find out what you are allergic too. If you cant afford and allergist, try removing certain things from your diet, say start with milk if you are a milk drink, go 3-5 days w/o it see if there is a difference, if no change then try something else. As far as the creams go that they gave you, they are steroids they work but only for a short time and then your body will resist them and then they will have to give you stronger ones. My little boy is 3 and already taking level 5 steroids, its really bad! now for itching, try oatmeal baths, mineral oil ( not baby oil, it contains fragrance) and this should help with some of the itching, also heat really makes this stuff flare up, we keep our house pretty cool. hope this helps if you have any more questions feel free to email me misskittys357@yahoo.com
