Eczema Medication
Very red eczema-like flare up! HELP?
I have acne on my chest and around a week ago I went to my dermatologist for treatment.
She prescribed a Benzaclin and a Retin-A-Micro, use each one every other day , and primarily at night before going to sleep.
Treatment had been great up until yesterday. I used the Retin-A-Micro and then it causes some discomfort and itching so I used an Aveeno Anti-Itch lotion. Soon the area that I was putting the acne treatment on FLARED UP, it is very red and I am quite worried.
I've decided to stop the acne medication now and try on my eczema medication for a few days, then let my dermatologist know/treat me. but I want your opinions on whether I am handling this situation right or am I mistaken.

you're handling it fine. you may have developed an allergy to the acne medication. i would contact your dermatologist sooner though
