Eczema Of The Ear Canal
Lymph nodes - Any way to getting them to drain faster?
I have a problem with eczema in my ear canal. I am using topical steroids, but at this time of year, even that doesn't control it entirely. What happens is that the fluid then drains down into my lymph nodes and swells and makes my ear and the side of my face ache somewhat. I've had this happen before and it's just annoying. My doctor gave me antibiotics because it had developed into an infection. He has quit practicing at the clinic I go to and so a new doctor would have to see me. I know it will go away on it's own. I just want this to happen FASTER! So, does anybody know how to get these darn things to drain faster to take the pressure off my nerves so the ache stops?
My doctor already told me that unless it feels hot, it is just draining, not infected.
Yes there is, but you'll need a rebounder (a small trampoline basically). Jogging on a rebounder for even a short time every day will help to drain your lymph nodes. Alternately, there is a technique called the lymphatic pump that you can research but that requires another person to assist you as you cannot do it correctly on your own. The Rebounder is the best way to go since you can do it yourself and it doesn't take any learning
Hope that helps & it gets better soon!
