Eczema On Feet Pictures
Eczema On Feet Pictures
if you know anything about dogs, and a possible heath issue please help me?

i have a 4 and a half month old doberman puppy.
he has developed two hard (although i can wiggle them) lumps on his front toe and his rear foot just below where his dew claw would be.
they do not seem to bother him, and don't seem sore or itchy. they are slightly scaly and the hair has gone where they are.
if it were not a lump i would say it sort of looks like eczema, the one on his front paw split and bled slightly, although again it didn't seem to bother him,
i am going to take him to the vets, but i just wondered if there was anyone who might know what it may be for my peace of mind until next week.
iv looked on about 4 web sites and can come up with nothing! none of the symptoms or pictures are like what he has.

unfortunately with a lump with hair loss you really cant get an answer even just by looking at it. The lump has to be tested, it could be bacterial, fungus, or a parasite... and you can not visually confirm these things. They can only be seen under a microscope. I think however that your vet wont have any problem figuring this out for you and your puppy will be just fine. All are treatable. One thing you may want to consider, to boost your puppies immune system, is putting him on a natural diet. Not commercial dog foods... I would recommend EVO, or try checking out animalfood.com, they have a natural raw diet that is great. I use it when I can afford it. it is a little on the spendy side
