Eczema Oral

How to stop my 2 year old from scratching due to eczema.?
She scratches so much that she starts bleeding, she bleeds right through her clothes, and it keeps her awake all night! We have tried oatmeal baths, oral and topical steriods, benadryl....everything!! She's just miserable. Some one told me to use pure emu oil?
Have you tried Benadryl cream?
P.S. Don't use both oral and topical Benedryl together.
If the skin is itching from dryness, emu oil would help. Since oil and water don't mix, ANY oil should help keep moisture in the skin. Personally, I like pure lanolin for dry skin. It's my impression that it's very similar to the natural oil in our human skin. It wears well, it will stay on my hands through a couple of washings.
If the itching is keeping her awake all night, maybe you should try children's ibuprofen or a stronger, prescription pain relief medication. (The effect of Ibuprofen lasts longer than Tylenol or aspirin. Aleve is even better, but is not for children under 12 except under the advise and supervision of a physician.) The sensation of itching is thought to actually be a pain sensation:
"...the sensation of itching is mediated by the same nerves as the sensation of pain. The difference between these two sensations is a function of the degree of stimulation. Itching results from a mild stimulus and pain from a more severe stimulus."

Good luck, I'm sure her condition is very difficult for you and your daughter. Here is also a link to a thorough article on dealing with eczema, maybe you will find something helpful.
