Eczema Ring Shaped
Eczema Ring Shaped
is this ringworm. eczema, or something else?

On the hairline around my neck, the skin is sort of bumpy and red. Is this from the heat? I also have a red, scaly, odd-shaped spot on the back of one of my ears, which has been there for a while. In addition, I just found a small, circular red spot on my neck, though I don't see a defined ring around it and it is completely red, with a small bit of flaking. I haven't seen any bald patches on my scalp. I'm going to see a doctor in a few days, but I'm worried. What is all this?

Eczema looks somewhat dry and red and "scaly" and itches quite a bit

The thing on your ear could be eczema or I'm possibly thinking maybe you should have it checked for melanoma or something, just because I have heard of lots of people getting it on various areas of the ears.

If I were you I'd look at pictures online of the two skin conditions you mentioned and see if what you have could be either of those. The thing on your neck could just be a bugbite or something, but couldn't hurt it do a comparison of the pictures to your neck before seeing the doc.

Good luck. Hope it's all nothing to worry about.
