Eczema Small Blisters
My son has a large, hard lump on his shin.?
He bumped his leg about 6 weeks ago. I expected bruising, but he has a large egg shaped lump under his skin. It moves with the skin and doesn't appear to be attached to the bone. No pain. He also has smaller blister-like bumps on the outside of the skin. He does have eczema which we are treating. Any ideas on what the larger hard bump is and what we should do?
I know a woman who banged her elbow really hard and in the weeks after, a large bump, just as you describe formed over it. She saw her doctor about it and he said that she probably chipped the bone a little and the bump was her bodies way of protecting it. It's fluid and will reabsorb in time.
Maybe that is what happened to your sons shin?
