Does eczema always itch on babies?
my baby went to the doctor today and the doctor said she had eczema on her back. im not sure she does because her back doesn't seem to itch and she doesn't have fluid bumps. the bumps are red and small and the skin is dry.
Eczema doesn't always itch. It depends on the spot and what kind of irritation is receives. I have eczema on the inside of my elbows, a spot on my neck and on the back of my neck and on the space between my upper lip and nose. They all suck and the only ones that itch really are my elbows and front of my neck. My daughter inherited eczema from me- it's on the outside of her arm. We were hoping she wouldn't. The prescription we got from the doctor is called fougera. It's a hydrocortisone ointment. It worked in like, 3 days. And you're supposed to use it for 10. Ask your Pediatrician about it.
EDIT: Oh the patch on my daughter's arm doesn't seem to itch. It's just a dry patch.
