Does anyone know how i can wean myself off of a topical steroid cream i use for my eczema?
Yes you can, the creams don't work. I have used them only to find that it stops the itch for a while then it comes back. Use glycerin based soaps and lotions. Try this to soften the skin
1/4 cup oats (not instant)
2-4 Tablespoons warm water
Mix in a mixer. It should be the consistency of a paste. Apply to eczema and leave on for 5 min. Rinse with cool water. Use a glycerin based lotion.
