Natural Cure For Psoriasis

Psoriasis on palms - have you cured it?
I have psoriasis on the inside of my hands.
It is itchy and little dots appear that when squeezed are full of clear liquid. Sometimes the rash is so bad I use the cream the doctor prescribed. It thins the skin though so I don't like using it.
Has anyone got a more natural cure for psoriasis?
I had it mild on the front of my hands a few years ago and vaseline worked well, but this time it is so itchy it is painful and people think I have burned my hands.
My dad had psoriasis on his neck when he was cheating on my mum and this rash started on my hands when I found my husband cheating on me, so it must be related to stress as it flares back up when we argue or I think about his affair.
Hi, I have had it in the palms and feet, although somehow it's gone now, but still have it on arms, legs, ears, and hands (and anywhere else it fancies throwing a "drop"). I still get a little "bubble" popping up here and there on palms or feet, not funny, just have to burst/scratch them.
I just answered another lady's question if you want to check out the details, the best thing I have found (have psoriasis 15 years& tried lots of things) is Argan oil, it's sold on the French Ebay, and the make I get is Diar.
Don't know if it will work on palms, it's worth trying though. It's 20 euros a pot I think, well worth it, and if you find it doesn't work too well on psoriasis, use it as a facemask, it's amazing !!! It stinks though, and is super oily so it might drive you mad... My advice is put it on at night, or at home.
Natural Cures For Psoriasis - A Better Way To Clear Your Skin
Are the usual cures for psoriasis not working for you?
Well join the club, because they didn't work for me either!
I tried all sorts of both over the counter and prescription creams and lotions. I even tried UVB therapy, but all to no avail. It was at this point that I realised the reason these treatments didn't work:
They only treat the symptoms, not the actual cause!
With this in mind, I began to explore the option of using natural cures for psoriasis instead. Because the cause of psoriasis lies in our immune system, which for some reason is over producing skin cells (this is what creates the scaly red patches), it seemed to me like madness that this could be cured by using skin creams.
Treating the external effects of the disease will only, at best, reduce the harshness of its appearance and soothe the itching somewhat. To properly tackle the problem, you need to understand why it happens in the first place.
Psoriasis is a disease that has been around for a long time, and can be traced as far back as ancient Egypt. But, the number of people suffering from the disease has rocketed in the last century.
The question is, why?
The reason for this explosion is believed to be our modern lifestyles. Everything from our diets of too much processed food to the pollution in the air we breathe and the stresses of modern day life has created an in-balance in our bodies. As a result, more and more people are seeing these in-balances manifest themselves in problems that until recently only affected a few people.
And it isn't just psoriasis that has claimed more victims either, there are increasing numbers of people suffering from other allergy related problems and 'modern diseases' such as eczema, hay fever, type 2 diabetes and IBS.
So, how do we use natural cures for psoriasis to redress the balance in our bodies whilst not giving up too much of our modern lifestyles?
One way you can help your body fight the effects of modern life is through your diet. By reducing the amount of over processed food you consume and instead eating as much fresh and organic food as possible, your body will be better equipped to function properly.
Combine this with some simple herbal solutions to help detoxify your body and rebuild the natural flora in the gut, and you may see your body and its immune system responds by returning to normal sooner than you think. And then, your psoriasis will be a thing of the past!
