Psoriasis And Tattoos

Tattoo raised up after having it slapped
have a 13 yr old tattoo which covers child psoriasis - bf smacked it and the tat raised up around the area it was tattooed? - went down after a few hours. why was this and what happened? has it damaged the ink in the tattoo into my skin or something?
It's merely a reaction to the ink. It happens. Happens to me all the time. You gotta understand that the ink has a concentration of metals in it. They have done wonders with the development and processing of ink in this new day and age. The rapper Paul Wall has developed ink without the free metals and this is reportedly stopping things like the raising of tattoos. Unfortunately, the raising of tattoos is all too common but is harmless.
Excessive body hair should not be a source of embarrassment, not when Laser Treatment is around
Hirsutism is much more common than you might think as many women deal with the condition of excessive hair growth every day. Hirsutism, by the way, can happen both in males and females. While men might see excessive body hair as positive and masculine, it is a cosmetic and psychological problem among women. In our society, femaleness is partly measured by a smooth skin and hirsutism can cause distress to many teens and adult females. Still, hirsutism shouldn’t be source of embarrassment mostly because it’s very easy to deal with.
First let’s understand the symptoms of hirsutism. Most men and women have hair all over their body. For some it is more noticeable and less for others. Body hair change from each individual, in color, density and thickness and women with light hair might not have an issue with body hair. But having darker, thick body hair doesn’t necessarily that you have hirsutism. Women with hirsutism notice dark and thick hair, in excessive amounts, all over their body including face, chest, stomach and back. Hirsutism is usually caused by an increased level of male hormone that is present in the female body. Some women might develop hirsutism after using certain birth control pills or hormones and hirsutism is also believed to run in families from generation to generation.
The first thing to do when hirsutism signs appear is to see a doctor. It might indicate a body hormone problem and some medical solution can help. There are a few ways to deal with hirsutism that can lessen or eliminate the excessive body hair. Shaving is probably the most obvious solution though it requires daily care and may cause skin to become irritated and less smooth. Applying creams that remove hair might do the trick for some, but the harsh chemicals in them might damage delicate facial skin. Waxing can cause irritation and make the hair grow even faster.
Probably the most efficient way of treating hirsutism is laser hair removal. It is safe, painless, long lasting and can be preformed on sensitive areas as the face without leaving any scares or irritation. A gentle beam of light passes through the skin to and destroys the hair follicle leaving the surrounding skin unaffected. The procedure varies from patient to patient, depending on the amount of hair treated. All patients usually require at least 2 or 3 treatments and hirsutism may be treated over a number of weeks as the process is only effective on hair during the early growing cycle. Repeat sessions will be necessary to treat these follicles when they re-enter the early growth phase. Remember that laser hair removal can be done only by a licensed practitioner.
