Psoriasis During Pregnancy
Psoriasis During Pregnancy
breasts after pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Before pregnancy my breasts were a 38D during pregnancy they went up to a 38DD. I breastfed for 5 weeks but because of a medication i had to start taking(i have psoriasis that came back and it was getting severe)i had to stop breastfeeding. my son is 11 weeks old now and my breasts are saggy now... please dont be rude but its depressing me horribly! its not like theyre horribly saggy or anything but they arent perky like before, anyone went through this? can i do or take anything that will make them firmer or perkier again? i know they will never be the same again but if i could get them any better at all i would be happy. please moms give advice or anything helpful.

The only drawback to having children I feel. Sorry...no more sexy thin strap bras. Gotta wear those full coverage ones with the 5 hook width bras now! Sucks but that's life. sniff sniff

Most people want healthy skin and for good reason. Skin can be an indicator of your overall health. Plus having nice, healthy skin can make you feel better about yourself and give you a confidence boost. Greater confidence can lead to other positive effects in a person's life.

There are a lot of factors that can take a toll on our skin's health or appearance. Things like too much exposure to sun, not eating well and pregnancy can all take a toll on our skin. But by knowing this we can prepare so we can reduce or stop the effects from these types of things.

By now we all know it's important to wear sunscreen, but some people still forget. To help with this you might make it a daily routine, like something you automatically do after you brush your teeth in the morning. Another idea is to keep small tubes of sunscreen in a few places like your car, your purse or gym bag, or by your door so you see it when you're heading out into the sun. (this way you can be prepared and have it with you at least most of the time)

Eating a healthy, balanced diet is also essential if you want beautiful skin. It's important to drink plenty of water and to eat a varied diet with plenty of fiber. One fun way to make sure you're eating a varied diet is to make sure you eat foods from all the color groups, things like black beans (purple), tomatoes/red peppers (red), oranges (orange/yellow), broccoli (green) and onions/cauliflower (white).

Pregnancy can also cause changes to the skin, the main one being stretch marks. Many women use creams during pregnancy to help prevent them from developing. During this time it's especially important to eat well and drink plenty of water to keep your skin and the little one healthy.

The other thing that is so important in maintaining good skin is a basic skin care routine. At minimum it's important to wash and moisturize your face every night. You may want to add a toner, eye cream and/or a weekly mask to your routine as well. You don't need to buy the most expensive skin care products to get benefits, but look for products that contain vitamins A, C and E. These vitamins all play a role in maintaining healthy skin. You may also want to look things like green tea or aloe to give additional help fighting wrinkles or problems with inflammation.

I encourage you to visit our sites so you can learn more about green tea skin care and how to prevent stretch marks.
