This is not about children being hit or put into cupboards. This is 1 million children that see the nasty side of adults co-existing everyday. Why can't adults be more considerate to children? Is innocence considered a luxury?
And with children i mean anything from babies to 12-year olds. I have seen horrible things like couples arguing for the whole street to hear over a pram. It makes me sick to the stomach.
Ps. I am a parent and it is a fine line but if anyone suffers on an emotional level in our house it's usually the me in the form of a stress headache. Or my partner who gets psoriasis.
