Psoriasis Medication Side Effects
Would you date a woman with a health problem she is taking care of?
I have bipolar disorder but I take care of it by taking medication, working out 7 days a week, keeping a regular schedule, sleeping 8 hours a night and eating a healthy diet. Because of metabolic side effects from a medication, I have gained 50 pounds. I also have some slight hair loss and slight psoriasis as side effects of my medication. I am a nice person and good looking, stylish, and fit with a good education, a good job and a good income, but I am not perfect. When my imperfections become apparent to my boyfriends, they usually break up with me. My health problems aren't that serious, but men seem to be turned off by all of them once they notice the slight hair loss, slight psoriasis, and see me taking medicine for bipolar disorder. I am 38 and still single. Why do men expect perfection? Why are they so turned off by superficial health problems and me having to take medication?
to tell the truth it's really hard to get with someone with health problems, because those problems will ultimately become yours. it just really takes alot of love. I'd say to think of it as a filter-- the guy who stays with you despite those problems is truly the one for you
