How Do I know if i have Nail fungus or if it is psoriasis of the nails?

I have looked this up on several websites and still dont have a straight answer. Please dont send links to random websites....
I have ridges in my nails.
The tips have way more white than normal and a cloudy and thick.
The skin around the nail is peeling.
The underneath seems to have hardly any feeling in it and i can peel skin off without it hurting.
It is on BOTH my Ring and Thumb fingers only which is a weird coincidence.
MY symptoms seem to describe both psoriasis and fungus.
I just wondered if anyone knew any ways to tell the difference.
I dont have insurance and cannot go to the doctor so thats why im on here asking.

thanks!!!!!!!

From the looks of it what you have is actually nail fungus. I'm not a doctor or anything but I used to have it in my toenails and what you are describing is exactly what I had. My doctor recommended this really expensive ointment but he said it would take months to work. So I looked for homemade remedies and that didn't work out either. This website really ended up helping me. They offer a lot of really good information and solutions that work in weeks.

Dry Peeling Skin – Here's How To Take Care Of It Naturally

One of my friends suffering from dry peeling skin, recently made a mistake of using a scented cream on the affected area on her skin. It caused her a severe sensation of burning and stinging. Fortunately, she went to a dermatologist before the condition could worsen further.

If you too are suffering from dry peeling skin, make sure you do not make the same mistake. Using a chemical based cream - even one containing perfumes or fragrances - is strictly not recommended. These chemicals are harsh on the skin and their effect becomes especially prominent when the skin is peeling.

Skin peeling is a natural process. It happens after every 28 days when the upper layer of the skin is replaced by a layer of fresh new skin cells. However, dry peeling skin is a condition which is a little different than this one.

It may be caused due to Eczema - an inflammation in the upper layer of the skin which is marked by red dry skin which may further flake, blister or even bleed. It may also be caused due to Psoriasis - an inflammation in the skin which causes it to peel off in scales.

The best way to take care of this condition is to use a natural skin care cream daily. Make sure to check the list of ingredients that it has. The effective ones essentially should contain:

1. Active Manuka Honey:

This honey has been known for its excellent healing properties since ancient times. It provides wonderful relief in dealing with most of the skin conditions especially eczema and psoriasis.

Additionally it has the ability to penetrate deep into the skin and thus nourish and hydrate it from within. This helps in keeping the skin well hydrated and hence prevents inflammation and dry skin.

2. Allantoin:

This naturally occurring compound is mainly found in herbs such as comfrey, wheat, and sugar beets. It helps soothe the skin and eases inflammation. It also stimulates the regeneration of skin cells and thus heals dry peeling skin completely and quickly.

Such natural skin care creams containing these and other similar ingredients, can get you permanently free from most of these skin problems. Being natural, these creams are absolutely safe to be used and have no side effects at all.

This is by far the best known way to handle dry peeling skin effectively. Try it to believe it.
