Active Manuka Honey Products - Your Skin Cream Should Contain This Special Honey
Television commercials and glossy magazine ads can tell us how to turn dry skin into silky skin, how to reduce wrinkles, how look younger, and how to feel better. But have you ever thought about the ingredients in the products they advertise? Do you know what methylchloroisothiazolinone is? It certainly doesn't sound like something you'd like to pour into a nice hot cup of tea, but it's commonly used in many well-known skin care products.
Here's something to consider before you make your next purchase:
Whether you pop something into your mouth, or rub it on your skin, you're doing the same thing, ingesting something into your body that is one of three things - helpful, useless, or harmful.
Let's get back to that cup of tea. What comes to mind when you think of adding something natural to soothe the mind, the spirit, or a sore throat? There's nothing like a squeeze of honey to turn that ordinary cup into instant nirvana.
Honey has long been known for its ability to heal. Those bees are busy producing an antioxidant and anti-bacterial substance so potent, it can't be duplicated in a laboratory or enhanced by artificial ingredients. There's a rumor out there that alludes to a special honey collected only in New Zealand where manuka bushes thrive in a wild, pollution-free environment. The bees collect nectar from the flowering bushes, and the honey is collected from their hives for use in a variety of all-natural manuka honey products.
From stomach ulcers to bacterial infections, manuka honey products have shown to be a potent remedy when taken orally. But when collected from the proper source, and prepared in a skin cream formula, active manuka honey is a powerful healing agent for serious skin maladies such as burns, deep wounds, and even severe acne and psoriasis.
If active manuka honey is so good at healing serious skin problems, better than anything your doctor might prescribe (that is likely filled with artificial ingredients), what can it do for you if just want your skin to feel and look revived and youthful?
The answer is... it can do just about everything.
