Thanks.
psoriasis is a hereditary skin condition, someone in her family must have had it or has it, not just immediate family, my sister, one of my brothers and i have it, i use dermarest, get it at the wal-mart pharmacy over the counter. i also use taro it's by prescrieption through a dermatologist. stay away from tomatoes and other acid foods, this will help. it 1st came on me around 18 years old, stayed about a year and left for 10 years and came back, we got it from our dad he had it. nervous or stress full situations can make it worse. when my sister went through her divorce, her psoriasis got really bad, so stay out to stressful situations if possible, also going swimming in the ocean seems to help, salt water helps Lot's of things, if you can't get to the beach the Epsom's salt bath's helps also. if it Itch's a lot cortizone will help with that. anyway my sister had it so bad after her divorce and her doctor she was seeing then tried everything and it didn't help, she went to see another and he told her to stop eating acidy foods and hers all but cleared up, she told me and i've cut down on them but i love tomatoes can't help it, but then mine isn't that bad right now, hope this helps your friend.
Dry Skin Treatment - How To Solve The Problem In No Time
The face, the hands, the abdomen, the neck, the shins or the feet are very often affected by skin dryness. A simple dry skin treatment such as the use of a body lotion or a moisturizer will solve the problem in no time. Who needs a dry skin treatment? If you feel the skin too tight on your bones and you have an unpleasant rough sensation when you pass your hand over it, then the dermis is most certainly dry. There is a genetic predisposition to the problem on the one hand, and on the other, dry skin is a common occurrence for all types of skin during the cold season.
A form of dry skin treatment many people prefer is the use of a deep tissue therapeutic method on a weekly basis; they make it at home with all natural ingredients. Many improvisations are possible for dry skin treatment from the basic massage with Shea butter, almond oil or olive oil to milk bathing as the most extravagant of options. Using yogurt as a skin lotion could also help: spread yogurt on the dry skin areas and let it work for tissue regeneration for at least ten minutes before removing it.
A dry skin treatment could also refer to some dermatological conditions such as dermatitis, psoriasis or eczema. Only a doctor can pass a diagnosis on such health problems, yet, the symptoms can be read in the itchiness, the irritation, the redness, blisters, flakes and cracks. The dry skin treatment could sometimes be complemented by the use of a topical steroidal cream or a basic moisturizer. Skin dryness should improve under the impact of medication and home remedies, but depending on the case, various lifestyle changes could be required.
Another way of supporting a dry skin treatment is to avoid all skin contact with chemical detergents, cleansers or other synthetic compounds with an irritative action. Moreover, the standard soap you may use could contribute to deteriorating the condition of the skin, therefore, a product with a neutral pH could be the only option favorable to your health. The extent of the dry skin treatment is difficult to appreciate when we are talking about a skin disease, because for naturally occurring dryness, the treatment ought to be permanent.
