Psoriasis Tea
I use Tea Tree Shampoo but it's very drying?
I didn't buy a conditioner to go along with it, can I just pick up any regular one at the Grocery store? My hair feels lifeless but it helped control my psoriasis
I only use every 2-3 days, max 3 times a week. I'd still expect it to be a lot less drying.
If it helped your psoriasis, then you should use it.. but maybe not as often. Get a plain ordinary basic shampoo without fragrance, colour, or any other fancy stuff that does nothing for you. I really like some of the Redken shampoos, although they aren't as good as they once were. You might try Nexxus as well. Any conditioner you get in the grocery store is useless... it is usually some wax or oil which can cause you more problems. If you don't over-shampoo, you won't need the wax. A good moisturizer (not an oil) is what you need. And use the Tea Tree oil as a treatment for your psoriasis periodically. You can also get the tea tree oil separately to apply to your scalp where it is affected.

Tea Tree Oil is a natural antiseptic, germicide, antibacterial, and fungicide.
