Psoriasis Vitamin A

How much Zinc is too much? How about Vitamin B? I'm a 240 pound man. Will these help with Psoriasis? Thanks HNY?
In general, here are some guidelines on zinc:
THERAPEUTIC DAILY AMOUNT:
30-50mg (take with copper to yield a zinc to copper ratio of 10:1). RDA is 15mg for men and 12mg for women. Coffee drinkers should take zinc supplements at least one hour before or two hours after drinking coffee, as it reduces the body’s ability to absorb zinc by 50%.
MAXIMUM SAFE LEVEL:
The maximum safe level for long-term use is 15mg, for short-term use, 50mg can be taken safely. Supplementation at levels greater than 80 mg/day may suppress immunity and cause other side effects.
Your amounts might be slightly higher due to your weight, but I would stick with the above guidelines if I were you.
Vitamin B is best taken in a Vitamin B complex form which contains several different B-vitamins. I would recommend getting a good quality Vitamin B complex and following the recommendations on the label.
As to whether those will help your psoriasis, the answer is that they might. Psoriasis can be difficult and what works for one person may not work for another.
Maybe some other good members here can share what has worked for them? Or, you may want to check out the Psoriasis Support Forum at CureZone:
