Raised Bumps Eczema
Raised Bumps Eczema
Ringworm? Eczema? Something else?

First off, please be assured that we have a doctor's appointment for our 6 year old. The first person to match the doctor's diagnosis gets the 10 points.

Here are the facts. Our daughter has very fair skin and always gets eczema, especially in the dry winter months. This year is no exception except...to go along with the normal cracking and dry redness there are circles and patches of raised, red bumps. These areas do not seem to be affected by Eucerin, which we apply liberally. After a while, the skin inside the ovals and circles became red and then, later, lost all pigment. Now a couple of the areas are totally pale (fairer than her already very fair skin).

What's your guess?

Thanks.

more then likely it is still eczema the Dr. might script a medicated oil or lotion for her skin. if it was ringworm you would have it too since you come in contact with the area.
