Severe Eczema Pictures
Dark rough spot on my hand in between my pinky and ring finger?
A few weeks ago I noticed in between my pinky and ring finger, on both hands, there were slightly red spots that burned. It did not itch at all, It just simply burned a bit. I thought nothing of it up until today when I noticed that what were very light reddish spots not to long ago are now dark, almost black, really rough and dry spots. One hand is actually worst than the other. I viewed some pictures online of people who have eczema and it just doesn't look like what I have. Could it be really dry skin Or something more severe??? If so, What can I do for this or would I have to see a derm? Does anyone have or had this before??? Thanks.
Could be a burn from some caustic chemical like bleach or ammonia or something from your work. Getting darker may just be scabbing or healing. If it doesn't go away you should see a dermatologist. In the meantime, try a good hand lotion like Theraseal (your pharmacist might have to order it).
