I think i have psoriasis!

About 3 weeks ago i noticed a small circle of dry skin on my thigh, i scratched it and flakes came off and then it got redder and bigger and dryer, i didnt think much of it , except that it was weird. It is a little smaller then the size of a dime now. I have been noticing more and more smaller, reddish patches of whatever it is on my arms back stomach other parts of my legs, just the odd one here and there all over. they are all about the size of the top of a pencil eraser, some smaller. My friend suggested it might be psoriasis, and I looked it up. now I think it might be. I have been reading the syptoms of it, but some pictures of the severe cases freak me right out. I am going to the Dr tomorrow. but i am really freaked out about it What do you think? what else could it maybe be??
My husband has severe psoriasis and that does sound like it. Yours may never get any worse than it is now. And because my husband's skin doesn't burn easily he can clear up his with just going to a tanning bed. Plant lights also clear it up - but will burn your skin if you are fair like me. There are also prescriptions for it. Good luck. Hopefully that's a dermatologist you are going to.
