The water is later on charged with high levels of negative ions, combining osmosis, ionization, and reflexology to generate a positive cellular environment to boost the body's natural detoxification process. With repeated use it softens the soles of your feet especially if you are suffering from calluses.

Athletes Foot – Home Remedies for Athletes Foot
Athlete's foot: Athlete's foot is a fungus that causes redness and cracking of the skin. It is itchy. The cracks between the toes allow germs to get under the skin. If blood sugar is high, the sugar feeds the germs and makes the infection worse. The infection can spread to the toenails and make them thick, yellow, and hard to cut.
Athlete's foot is often confused with other conditions, such as dermatitis, allergic contact eczema, atopic eczema, psoriasis and erythrasma, so it is important to get a definitive diagnosis before starting treatment. In addition, you should consult your physician if you see an accumulation of pus in the cracks or blisters on the skin, or if your symptoms interfere with your day to day activities.
Home Remedies for Athletes Foot
Avoid tight, closed toed shoes. The moisture and heat built up by this type of footwear can cause athlete's foot fungus to thrive.
You can also soak your feet in tea. Fill a large bowl with a quart of boiling water and add six tea bags. After the tea has cooled enough to be comfortably warm, soak your feet for a half hour or an hour. The tannic acid in tea kills some of the fungus and is soothing for painful, itchy feet.
Use a foot powder to keep your feet dry. Plain cornstarch makes a great foot dusting powder.
Wash your socks with bleach in the water, same as towel you use. Wipe out your shoes with a bleach water mixture and let dry. Then spray well with Lysol and let dry. Use Lusol on the tub, shower, and foot tub. Do not dry - spray till wet and let air dry.
Using baking soda as a powder on your feet and between your toes after you shower and dry your feet and toes thoroughly is helpful.
Treat athlete's foot with an over-the-counter antifungal solution:Use an over-the-counter remedy to help get rid of the fungus that causes athlete's foot. Choose an antifungal solution rather than a cream. Creams can actually help trap moisture between your toes. And, since keeping your feet dry is the first step in treating athlete's foot, that's the last thing you want.
Tea tree oil with antifungal properties: Prepare a solution of water and white vinegar – one part of white vinegar to four part of water; soak your feet for 20 to 30 minutes twice day. Sprinkle some baking soda between your toe fingers and rinse your feet after fifteen minutes. It is as effective as an expensive antifungal powder. Rub tea tree oil between your toe fingers, it has antifungal properties. For immediate relief from itching or burning, soak your feet in an antiseptic mouthwash like Listerine. Corn starch is effective in soaking moisture, so keep your toe fingers dry by sprinkling some corn starch on them
Healthy and balanced diet: Avoid eating baked products and products that have high yeast content in them. Avoid alcohol, sugar, cola drinks and grains. Eat a healthy and a balanced diet, avoid processed foods. Your diet must include fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Avoid fried and greasy food. Garlic has a good antifungal property, eat raw garlic or include it in your diet.
Drying between each toe after bath or shower will not allow fungus to start. I had athletes foot 2 times. This is the best remedy for it not to reoccur.
