What is the best cream for EXTREME skin dryness/psoriasis?

Now that the dry weather is here, I have terribly dry skin on my hands and terribly chapped soles of my feet as well, to the point where it is painful to walk. Other than get a humidifier in my house, what is the best over-the-counter cream to use? I have tried Vaseline, etc. but all they do is just dampen my skin and then it's back to the same problem. I need something effective!!!!

You really shouldn't use vaseline on your psoriasis. There is an infinite number of creams and people react differently to them. I suggest you go to your chemist and get some advice/cream samples...
You will probably need a very fat cream like Locobase
