Treating Eczema In Infants

Eczema Baby?
My infant who is 9 months has had eczema her whole life. So far I have managed to keep it under control. 2 days ago she started to get what I thought was a rash in her diaper area but it isn't I treated it and its ezcema. What can I put on her down there so it can go away? I don't want 2 put the same meds I put on her arms on her genitals I don't know if thats safe. Please help.
My son has eczema and it is always breaking out on his bottom. I find vasoline or pure lanolin work best for his bottom.
Also I would try making sure you wash your babies clothes with a infant laundry detergent. These are free of dyes and fragrances that can really irritate an infants skin, and don't use fabric softener. Also try to dress your baby in cotton clothing, and if the rash in the diaper area gets really bad then perhaps try switching to cloth diapers.
Also Baby Orajel makes a product called "Gentle Naturals Eczema Baby Wash" this may help and it is pretty easy to find (target, wal-mart, walgreens, etc.)
