Treating Eczema In Kids
Treating Eczema In Kids
We keep getting MRSA. How do I get rid of it?

My daughter got it two years ago b/c she has eczema and that was the point of entry. We treated it but it has never fully went away. We have all had in now. We have seen DR. after DR. and this is getting old. I am so sick of this. We have even seen an ID specialist and they said that my daughter has colonized MRSA. I work at a hospital and I'm not sure if that's how its coming back up but I have only had it twice in 2 yrs...and both kids and husband can't get rid of it. They have eczema so I think that is how it is entering but how do I prevent it from reinfecting. Nothing is healing the eczema either. We even have a script for bactrum here to use topically but it doesn't seem to fully rid it. HELP!!!
I know...but there has to be a way to get rid of it. It is resistant...that does not mean it I can't get rid of it...its a matter of how?

I am truly sad families are going through this situation.

I have a few questions.

Have you considered/used UVA1 photo-therapy for the eczema?
Have you seen a dermatologist who has successfully treated families with MRSA?
Do you know which strain of MRSA you are dealing with?
