Treatment Eczema On Hands
Does anyone know of a good treatment for eczema?
Have it on my hands and been a sufferer since a little girl. Tried all sorts of creams and ointments but still have it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Oilatum shower gel is good to use on a daily basis or whenever you shower, this will help keep your skin moisturised and prevent dryness. They key with Eczema, is keeping your skin moisturised. Use soap free products where possible.Other creams and emollients can be obtained from your GP; you might be given a mild steroid cream at first to bring the inflammation down (this should only be used when flare ups occur and should not be used long term) once this is under control you should feel better. In the meantime you can take antihistamines to reduce itching.
Don't use biological powders when washing clothes. Surcare (although expensive) is nice also Fairy snow.
Just avoid all synthetic/Perfumed products. Also, when washing your clothes, put it through on an extra rinse cycle and try to avoid all fabric softeners.
