Triamcinolone Cream Eczema
Please Help With Itching/Swelling Problem?
I am experiencing this for the first time in my life. My hands started itching real bad yesterday morning, after scratching for a good while, my hands became red and swollen. Sometimes a few fingers will throb (slight pain). I went to see a Dr. this morning and he gave me Benodryl and a cream called Triamcinolone. He said i had Eczema, which is why he gave me the Triamcinolone. He said that the itching/swelling seemed like an allergic reaction to something.
I informed him that the only thing that's happened lately is my dental Bone Graft surgery - i've been taking Amoxicillin for it. I was on Amoxicillin for the past week, i've been done with it since this past Tuesday. Can it affect me almost a week later?
This situation is scaring the hell out of me, someone please help.
UPDATE - now the right side of my face is a lil red with a few bumps and my ring finger on my left hand is swollen pretty bad. Someone please help 
You are probably having an allergic reaction to the Amoxicillin. It happens quite often with people these days. I think because of all the Amoxi in the beef we eat. Quit using it and the doctor who prescribed it and he will tell you what to do next.
