What Makes Psoriasis Worse
my husband has psoriasis?
my husband has psoriasis, he's had it since he was like 7 yrs old. anyone know what store bought products can make them clear up. he doesnt have it bad at all but it makes him insecure. and he doesnt want to go to the dermatologist. so please some one let me know what he could use! I want to see him naked dammit!!! 
My husband has something similar, ceribic dermitios (some spelling close to that) He gets it on his forehead really bad to the point that it is killing hair follicles, his eyebrows, and chest.
I finally got him to go to the dermatologist, she gave him some foam stuff and some cream, unfortually the foam (covered by insurance) didn't work, but the cream did (NOT covered by insurance and expensive!!) Since we were limited with the number of samples she gave us, we had to do something.
Someone suggested using T-Sol shampoo on all affected areas, really soak it in, scrub it in, leave it for about 20 minutes. When it is softened, slather up with baby oil BIG TIME. Johnson and Johnson's now make a baby oil gel which works for places not on the head. We did this several times a week, and it really helped out a lot.
Hopefully you can get him to see a doctor, they have lots of stuff that can help psoriasis.
I purchased Tend Skin Care Solution because of the razor bumps in my bikini area. I have always used razor in that part because it was easy and it was not time-consuming. The last time that I did that, I was really in a hurry and I just shaved mindlessly. It was too late when I noticed that the area turned red and that pimple-like red bumps appeared.
What made it worse was that the bumps were noticeable when I wear bathing suit. I tried different bathing suit designs in the fitting room of a department store but not one of them could hide the red bumps. The worst part was that we will be having a swimming party in 5 days. I was glad that my boyfriend recommended me this product.
I was using it after my baths in the morning and in the evening. There are still some razor bumps on the 5th day but I was able to wear my bathing suit on the party. My boyfriend started using it after shaving. Based on my own and my boyfriend's experience, I can say that this product is effective.
The only thing that I don't like is the smell of Tend Skin care solution. It's supposed to care for you skin but it smelled pretty bad. Whenever I open the bottle, it's as if I am opening a jar of rotten fruit or something. I wish they can come up with nicely scented variety. But other than this, it is effective with razor bumps.
